- Amazon is pulling its Royal Mail contract worth £25 million as the threat of industrial action intensifies, writes the Guardian. However, according to a later report from Reuters, Amazon said it has not left Royal Mail altogether, but was simply “making contingency plans” by appointing other carriers to handle some of its deliveries.
- More on the looming postal strikes: this time Boden’s Julian Granville is quoted in a story on Sky News. The Communication Workers Union is expected to announce the results of its strike ballot later today.
- RNLI has relaunched its catalogue and website after a six-month hiatus during which it looked for a new fulfilment partner.
